The mission of the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is to prepare students from low-income, first-generation and underrepresented backgrounds for doctoral studies. The ultimate goal of the McNair program is to increase Ph.D. degree attainment among underrepresented student populations. Through our program services and inidividualized academic advising, McNair Scholars receive the support necessary to apply, secure funding and attain doctorate degrees. Below are the federally-mandated program objectives for all McNair Programs:
