The primary objective of the Rutgers EOF Alumni Association is to support the mission of Rutgers University and enrich the lives of our EOF Alumni and promote of welfare of program students. The Association seeks to increase and strengthen alumni support and involvement for Rutgers University’s EOF Program by developing and implementing educational related activities such as: mentoring experiences, internship and networking opportunities, fund-rising events and advocacy engagement. In addition, the EOF Alumni Association will serve as a means for program graduates to stay connected with each other and for providing opportunities for support and collaboration.
The mission of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Alumni Association is to assist and support the program in its efforts to provide opportunity to higher education for economically and educationally disadvantaged students through mentoring, fund rising, and advocacy. The association also serves as a resource for maintaining life-long connections by serving as a vehicle for networking, collaborating, and socializing among program graduates.
- Establish and cultivate relations with Alumni of the Rutgers EOF Program through communications, fundraising, and advocacy.
- Serve as the primary alumni resource for Rutgers EOF Students from the former Liberal Arts Colleges (Douglass, Livingston, Rutgers, and University College as well as EOF graduates from the School of Arts and Sciences, Rutgers Business School, Mason Gross School of the Art, School of Management and Labor Relations, and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
- Develop and maintain an accurate alumni membership list to keep program graduates up-to-date with university and program news and events.
- Promote and enhance the EOF program’s image by supporting the vision of the New Jersey EOF Program.
