Ashley G. Woolfork, Graduate Student at University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL)

Ashley is a School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) EOF alumnus. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Chemistry in 2016.

Ashley is now pursuing an analytical Chemistry Ph.D. at University of Nebraska Lincoln (UNL). She is in Dr. David Hage Research Group examining the response of a labeled fatty acids on a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system and their binding to the protein Human Serum Albumin (HSA) and Acrylodan Intestinal Fatty Acid Binding Protein (ADIFAB) for use in competitive binding format for measuring unbound free fatty acids.

EOF has helped Ashley tremendously throughout her undergraduate career by providing her with numerous opportunities to help her flourish as both as student and a role model for younger students in the program. In the future, she hopes to give back to the Rutgers community by becoming a professor and contribution to the field of chemical education research.
