Victor A. Hernandez, Graduate Student at The Ohio State University (OSU).
Mr. Victor Hernandez is currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacology at OSU. Mr. Hernandez is a proud Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (SEBS) EOF alumnus. Mr. Hernandez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry with high honors. As an undergraduate, he participated in the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program, was a General Chemistry tutor for three years and a Solid GEMS Chemistry Teaching Assistant (TA) during the summer of 2013. Being part of SEBS EOF allowed Mr. Hernandez to participate in the Yale SURF research program. The EOF counselors helped him stay focused, getting things done before the deadline to be able to reach the end goal, graduation. His work as a tutor, TA, and his participation in Yale SURF are now helping him immensely in his graduate career. Mr. Hernandez believes that anyone can achieve great things, one only has to take advantage of the opportunities that lie in front of them. Mr. Hernandez is grateful and glad that he had opportunity to be part of the SEBS EOF family.
