SEBS EOF Book Loan Program

Event Location:
Martin Hall Room 211 Cook Campus
Book Loan Flier

The cost of textbooks can be a major expense for college students.  For students with limited income or financial aid, this cost can be a potential barrier to completing their program of study and being successful in their studies.  The SEBS EOF program is fortunate to lend used Math & English books to SEBS EOF students who are in need.  We hope that by providing this service, more SEBS EOF students will be able to complete their educational goals in a timely manner. In order to receive a used Math and/or English book, SEBS EOF students must submit the Book Loan Request Form to the SEBS EOF office.  The following books are available for a semester ONLY loan:

  • Chemistry 161/165
  • Elementary Algebra (025)
  • Intermediate Algebra (026)
  • Pre Calculus 111/115
  • Calculus (135/151)
  • ENG 098, 100, 101
  • BIO 1 & 2
  • Organic Chemistry 1 & 2

Students are encouraged to come into the SEBS EOF Office on the first day of classes to see their EOF Counselor to discuss their book loan request. The books will be loaned on a first come first serve basis all students must request their books online by completing the Book Loan Application. Students may not write, mark or highlight in loaned books. Any items accompanying the book, such as CD-ROM or On-line codes, must be returned in good condition. Borrowed books must be returned within  24 after your last final exam or 24 hours after withdrawing from a course.

Students will be notified by Friday, September 1, 2017 about their book loan application.  The application link will close on Sunday, September 3, 2017.
