Workshops

Overview

In order to provide well-rounded support for all our students from their freshmen year to their senior year, SSS provides a number of educational workshops and seminars. Topics cover the following areas: Writing Skills, Math and Science Study Skills, Technology, Graduate and Professional School Preparation, Career Development, General Academic Study Skills, Personal Development and Life Skills, Financial Literacy Education and Leadership Development. Bi-yearly surveys are administered online to make sure we are offering workshops that meet the students’ needs and interests.

How to sign-up?

Pre-registering for a workshop is required in order to make sure enough seats and materials are available for all participants. Please review our workshop schedule. You may register for as many as you like by simply clicking on “Register” to the right of the workshop you select.

If you are competing for the Grant Aid Program, participating in workshops is a great way to earn additional 3 points towards the competition.

How to cancel registration?

Due to limited space, it is important that you remember to record the workshops you signed up for earlier. However if you later realize you can no longer attend, you must cancel your registration with a minimum 24-hour notice. This will allow for other students to sign up and it will give us an accurate estimate of how many people to expect. In order to cancel your registration, please login.
