Read some of the students’ reflections below:
"This College Tour was one of the best college tours that I have went on so far. I definitely learned a lot and met a couple of new people in UB who I have never talked to before. I also enjoyed the company of the McNair students who hanged out with us after the college tours and their Convention. This college tour provided a brand new experience for me. From visiting the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic site, viewing the Gay protest at Georgia State, even from just walking around and exploring Atlanta. We went to so many places I definitely enjoyed myself. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.” Wynnter Withers 11th grade UB Scholar
“My overnight college tour experience was overall excellent. I liked the places we went to and the activities we did. I mainly enjoyed doing the scavenger hunts for each school. The school I liked the most was University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. I enjoyed this school the most because it felt like a place I can see myself going to and being comfortable at. Going on this college tour was truly an experience and I am looking forward to go on more college tours in the future” Justin Rios 10th Grade UBMS Scholar & Ambassador
